With over 20 full-time professors, 50 lecturers, and over 1,200 students, we are the largest university department in the field of tourism in Germany and offer the broadest range of courses in the subject.
Our professors possess outstanding academic credentials and have at least five years of practical experience in the field. We maintain close ties to the international hospitality and tourism industry and are actively involved in the latest research.

International Activities

International Semester
The Bachelor of Tourism Management (Study Plan) is taught in 7 semesters including one semester of practical training.
The 5th semester (1st semester of 3rd year) is completely taught in English. Course contents reflect international perspectives as well as regional ones.
- International exchange students can attend regular classes with local students.
- International guest professors teach modules.
- Local students who are not able to experience time abroad profit from the "internationalisation at home" strategy and improve their English language skills during classes.
